The Series 420/422 relays are magnetic-latching, TO-5 relays designed for low-level switching from dry circuit to ampere. They are suitable for high-density PC board mounting due to their small size and low coil power dissipation.

These relays have proven to be excellent ultraminiature RF switches for frequency ranges well into the UHF spectrum, with features such as good RF performance, small size, very low coil power dissipation, and high reliability.

Key Features

The relays have a “memory” capability, meaning they will not reset upon removal of coil power. They are also designed to minimize power dissipation and can be operated with a short duration pulse.

Environmental and Physical Specifications

The relays operate in a temperature range of -65°C to +125°C and can withstand vibration up to 30 g’s and shock up to 100 g’s. They are hermetically sealed and have a maximum weight of 0.10 oz (2.84g).

The relays have a contact arrangement of 2 Form C (DPDT) and are rated for continuous duty. They have a low contact resistance and are suitable for a variety of loads, including resistive, inductive, and lamp loads.
