Overview of the DIP Jumpers
Aries offers a wide range of DIP jumper configurations and wiring possibilities for various programming needs. The jumpers have reliable, electronically tested solder connections and protective covers that are ultrasonically welded on, providing strain relief for cables.
Specifications
The header body and cover are made of black UL 94V-0 4/6 Nylon, while the header pins are made of 1/2 hard brass with a standard plating of 10u [.25um] minimum Gold per MIL-G-45204 or 50p” [1.27um] minimum Nickel per QQ-N-290.
Aries also offers optional plating options, including 200u” [5.08um] minimum Matte Tin per ASTM B545-97 over 50p” [1.27um] minimum Nickel per QQ-N-290 or Type over 50u” [1.27um] 90/10 Tin/Lead per MIL-T-10727.
The cable insulation is UL Style 2697 Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) with a clear PVC laminate that is self-extinguishing.
