Overview

IRC’s semi-precision power wirewound resistors are designed for high-reliability applications, featuring weldable and solderable leads, high thermal conductivity ceramic cores, and silicone coatings. They are available in a range of styles, including MIL-R-26 and MIL-R-39007, with resistance values from 0.1 ohms to 300K ohms and power ratings from 1.0 to 14 watts.

Specifications

Operating temperature range: -55°C to +275°C (characteristic U) or -55°C to +350°C (characteristic V)

Temperature coefficient: ±50 ppm/°C to ±400 ppm/°C

Insulation resistance: 10,000 megohms minimum at 100 volts DC

Derating: wattage rating based on operation at 25°C, derate to zero at 275°C and 350°C for “U” and style ratings
