Omron’s Snap Action Switch is a general-purpose switch that is widely used in applications requiring long life expectancy and high reliability.
The switch has a robust design with switching currents ranging from 10A to 21A. It is available in various levers, terminals, and operating forces, and features right and left barrier options for the V-21 and V-16 models. Heat-resistant versions are also available for the V-15 and V-10 models.
The switch comes in thermoplastic and thermosetting cases, with various combinations of rated current, contact form, terminal style, and actuator. These combinations are listed in detail on the datasheet.
The switch has the following specifications:

- UL and CSA approval
- EN 61058-1 approval from TUV Rheinland
- Testing conditions: 50,000 operations at 20+C to 80+C
