Reliability Tests

Soldering Heat Resistance

With the capacitors subjected to immersion in solder at 260°C for 10 seconds, the capacitive change, dissipation factor, and leakage current must stay within defined limits.

Surge and Endurance

Post 2000 hours of application of rated voltage at 85°C or derated voltage at 125°C, the components should maintain characteristic requirements, ensuring long-term stability.

Physical Testing

The shear test and terminal strength test are outlined to ensure mechanical robustness, with no damage or significant deformation within specified pressure loads.

Marking and Packaging

Detailed is the type numbering system which includes the capacitance and voltage rating for identification, along with taping codes for packaging and the case dimension specifications for different series capacitors.
