Overview

The Military ProASICBIEL family of flash FPGAs offers a 40% reduction in dynamic power consumption and 50% reduction in static power consumption, while maintaining performance, density, and advanced features.

Key Features

These FPGAs feature Actel’s Flash*Freeze technology, which enables instantaneous switching from active to static state, retaining internal states without the need to switch off clocks or power supplies.

They also offer reprogrammability, 1.2 V to 1.5 V core and I/O operation, and advanced features like clock conditioning circuitry (CCC) with an integrated phase-locked loop (PLL).

The devices support up to 504 kbits of true dual-port SRAM and 620 user I/Os, with system gates ranging from 600 k to 3 million.

ARM Cortex-M1 processor support is available in some devices, offering a high-performance, 32-bit processor with a three-stage pipeline and configurable nested interrupt controller.

These FPGAs are suitable for low-power data transfer and manipulation in military-temperature applications where available power may be limited or heat dissipation is restricted.
