Overview

Each quality level represents a degree of product assurance for the devices specified in MIL-PRF-19500.

Physical and Electrical Characteristics

The devices are encapsulated in a DO-4 package outline reference (figure 1), which complies with military packaging standards. Maximum ratings for operating temperatures are from -65°C up to +200°C, with a power rating of 10 W at a case temperature of +55°C and a derating of 0.083 W/°C above +55°C. The thermal resistance (junction-to-case) is denoted as a maximum of 12°C/W. Part Identification and Quality Levels

Each diode has a Part or Identifying Number (PIN) that follows the guidelines outlined in MIL-PRF-19500, with additional specifications detailed herein. The document clarifies that the encapsulated devices falling under this specification can be identified by the quality level designators JAN, JANTX, JANTXV, and JANS.
