The LA Varistor Series is a family of transient voltage surge suppressors, designed to be operated continuously across AC power lines. These radial leaded varistors (MOVs) require minimal mounting space and are available in various standard lead form options.
The series features a wide operating voltage range (130V to 1000V), with energy absorption capability up to 360J. Some models have clamping voltage selections, designated by a model number suffix of either ‘A’ or ‘B’. The series is RoHS compliant and has no derating up to 85°C ambient temperature.
The LA Varistor Series is available in tape and reel or bulk pack, with various models suitable for different applications. Additional features include:
- Lead-free, halogen-free, and RoHS compliant
- Energy absorption capability up to 360J
