The HB34, HF34, and HG34 Series of Metal-Oxide Varistors (MOVs) are designed to provide surge suppression in AC mains outdoor and service entrance environments, as well as in industrial heavy motors, controls, and power supplies.
These varistors offer a wide operating voltage range of 110V to 750V, high energy absorption capability of 220J to 1050J, and high peak pulse current capability of 40,000A.
The series features lead-free, halogen-free, and RoHS compliant devices with rigid terminals for secure through-hole solder mounting, and no derating up to 85°C ambient temperature.
Agency Approvals
The series has received approvals from UL1449 with an agency file number of E320116.
Absolute Maximum Ratings
The devices have a continuous AC voltage range of 110V to 750V, a DC voltage range of 970V, and a peak pulse current range of 40,000A for 8/20μs current wave.
The operating ambient temperature range is -55°C to +85°C, and the storage temperature range is -55°C to +125°C.
