Overview
The Low Signal Relay G6L from Omron is an ultra-compact and highly efficient relay, positioned as one of the thinnest in the world. Its design results in a 20% reduction in mounting area and approximately 64% less volume than its predecessor, the GSV- relay. Specific dimensions for this surface-mount or through-hole relay are 7.0mm in width, 10.6mm in length, and 4.5mm in height for surface-mounted versions or 4.1mm in height for through-hole variants.
Key Features
With an impressive high dielectric strength, the G6L relay boasts 1,000 VAC between coil and contacts and 750 VAC between contacts of the same polarity. The product meets FCC Part 68 standards and is both UL recognized and CSA certified. Additionally, it complies with RoHS, having completely eliminated the use of lead in its construction, ensuring environmental safety.
Ordering Information
The G6L series is available in SPST-NO contact form and comes in either fully sealed construction for through-hole terminal mounting (model G6L-1P) or surface-mount terminal mounting (model G6L-1F).
How To Order
When placing an order, the rated coil voltage must be specified by appending it to the model number. For instance, G6L-1P with a coil voltage of 12V DC would be ordered as G6L-1P DC12. For surface-mount versions that require tape packing, the suffix “-TR” should be added to the model, hence G6L-1FTR DC12 for tape-reel packaged units. However, the “-TR” designation is not printed on the relay case.
