The L5980 is a step-down switching regulator with a 0.7 A DC output current and an input voltage range of 2.9 V to 18 V. The output voltage can be adjusted from 0.6 V to VIN.
The device features a 250 kHz switching frequency, programmable up to 1 MHz, and includes internal soft-start and inhibit functions. It also has low dropout operation, voltage feed-forward, and zero-load current operation.
