The L298 is a high voltage, high current dual full-bridge driver designed to accept standard TTL logic levels and drive inductive loads such as relays, solenoids, and DC and stepping motors.
It features two enable inputs to enable or disable the device independently of the input signals, and an additional supply input for the logic to operate at a lower voltage.
