Inrush Current Suppressors Overview

Inrush current suppressors are NTC (negative temperature coefficient) thermistors designed to limit excessive inrush current in applications such as switching power supplies.

These suppressors have high initial resistance, which drops to negligible resistance after the initial surge, preventing damage to other system components.
