The Omron General Purpose Relay G7L is designed to be ideally suited for high-inrush fluid pump controls. Manufactured with high capacity and high withstand voltage, the G7L relay is engineered to avoid contact chattering during momentary voltage drops, which can be up to 50% of the rated voltage. The relay is constructed in accordance with the UL Class B standard and utilizes flame-resistant materials that qualify for UL94V-0 for all insulation material, ensuring safety and durability.

The coil of the G7L relay is AC-activated and can handle a wide range of voltage inputs, from 100 to 120 VAC or 200 to 240 VAC, accommodating both 50 and 60 Hz frequencies. The miniature size of the relay is advantageous for maximizing switching capacity, specifically when dealing with inductive loads.

For connectivity, the relay provides multiple terminal options, including quick-connect, screw, and PCB terminals, enhancing compatibility and ease of installation. Furthermore, it is designed for DIN track mounting. Ensuring comprehensive safety and quality standards, the G7L complies with UL, CSA, TUV, and IEC 950 regulations and features a contact gap of 3 mm. The contact forms available include Single Pole Single Throw – Normally Open (SPST-NO) and Double Pole Single Throw – Normally Open (DPST-NO).
