The components are identified by labels such as COG, XZR, X7S, X65, XSR, YSV, and ZSU, each signifying different characteristics and associated operating temperatures. Capacitances are signified by a three-digit marking code where the first two digits are significant and the third indicates the number of zeroes to follow. The voltage rating is indicated by a code such as 4R0 for 4.0 VDCW, or 100 for 10 VDCW.

Terminations and Packaging

Different termination coatings are available and designated in the part number with variations for N, P, G, and Pb 90/10. Default packaging options are embossed or paper tape, with reel sizes differentiated by product dimensions. For example, D stands for Paper Tape (10″ Reel), while E is for Embossed Tape (7″ Reel). An additional optional thickness is noted with a ‘P’ for minimum thickness or left blank for standard thickness.

Dimensions

Dimensional information is provided, with units in inches and millimeters. Values are available for each capacitor size ranging from 01005 to 2220, covering body size, length, width, and minimum thickness.
