This datasheet presents metallized polyester film capacitors (MKT) for general purpose applications, including blocking, coupling, decoupling, and RFI for automotive.
The capacitors feature high pulse strength, high contact reliability, and are RoHS-compatible and halogen-free.
Construction and Features
The capacitors have a polyethylene terephthalate (polyester, PET) dielectric, stacked-film technology for lead spacing 5 to 15 mm, and wound capacitor technology for lead spacing 10 to 37.5 mm.
They have a plastic case (UL 94 V-0) with epoxy resin sealing (UL 94 V-0) and parallel wire leads that are lead-free and tinned.
Types and Lead Spacing
The capacitors are available in various types with lead spacing ranging from 5 mm to 37.5 mm, including B32529, B32520, B32521, B32522, B32523, B32524, and B32526.
Each type has a range of rated capacitance, rated DC voltage, and rated AC voltage.
