The UM-1 (UM Series) Crystal Unit is a crystal unit designed for set-top box PCs and other consumer electronics. It is RoHS compliant and halogen free.
The crystal unit has a frequency range of 6.0 to 9.9 MHz, with a tolerance of ±0.2 ppm at 25°C. It also has a temperature stability of ±50 ppm and an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The storage temperature range is -50°C to 85°C.
The load capacitance is 8 to 32 pF, with an ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) of 13.2 ±0.5 ohms. The drive level is 0.02 W max, and the aging is less than 0.1 ppm per year.
Operation Modes
The UM-1 (UM Series) Crystal Unit operates in three modes: fundamental, third overtone, and fundamental third overtone. The frequency range for each mode is as follows:
