Aries Series 181 Through 183 90-Pin Staked Flex Jumpers
The datasheet provides specifications for 90-pin staked flex jumpers produced by Aries Electronics, Inc. The product combines thin, flexible solid copper conductors embedded between layers of flame-retardant insulation.
The jumpers are available with various options, including high-temperature cable insulation, tin-lead plating, and polarization stripes. The conductors have a cross-sectional area equivalent to 26 AWG and are connected to female and male crimp-on pins.
Physical Characteristics
The jumpers have a standard cable insulation that is white UL VW-1, style 2643 flame retardant polyester (Mylar) adhesive. The high-temperature cable insulation is polyimide (Kapton) insulation with acrylic adhesive.
Electrical Characteristics
The jumpers have a cable current rating of 3 amps and a voltage rating of 300 volts. The dielectric strength is 2500 volts/mil, and the insulation resistance is 1000 MOhms minimum.
Bend Options
The jumpers are available with various bend options, including both ends bent 90 degrees in the same direction, one male end bent 90 degrees, or both ends bent 90 degrees in opposite directions.
