This datasheet provides specifications for Aries 90-pin staked flex jumpers. The jumpers feature thin, flexible solid Copper conductors embedded between layers of tough, flexible flame-retardant insulation.
General Specifications
The standard cable insulation is white UL VW-1, Style 2643 flame retardant Polyester (Mylar) adhesive, with a high temperature flame retardant option available. Cable conductors are solid Copper with a cross-sectional area equivalent to 26 gauge AWG.
The female housing is black UL 94V-0 Glass-filled Stanyl 4/6 Nylon, with female and male crimp-on pins made of spring-tempered Copper Alloy 510.
Dimensions and Tolerances
All dimensions are in inches and millimeters. The cable current rating is 3 Amps, with a voltage rating of 300 Volts. The dielectric strength is 2500 Volts/mil, and the insulation resistance is 1000 MOhms minimum.
The junction temperature range is -55 to 105°C, with an operating temperature range of -67 to 257°F (-55 to 105°C). The recommended PCB hole size is 0.032 ± 0.002 inches (0.81 ± 0.05) dia.
Ordering Information
The ordering format is XX-XXXX-XXX, where XX is the number of conductors, XXX is the type of ends (e.g., “A” for both ends bent), and the optional suffixes include “HT” for high temperature cable insulation, “TL” for Tin Lead plating, and “P” for a polarization stripe.
