The ESIEG Metalized Polyester Capacitors series features a stacked layer construction with a self-healing capacitor and polyester as the dielectric material. The capacitors have epoxy resin-dipped radial tinned copper leads.

The capacitors are available in various sizes and ratings, with lead spacing from 7.5 mm to 15 mm, and rated capacitance from 0.01 μF to 4.7 μF. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to 100°C, with a maximum category temperature of 85°C.
Electrical Characteristics
The capacitors have a maximum dissipation factor of 5 x 10-3, self-inductance of 10-20 nH, and a maximum capacitance drift of 1%.
The insulation resistance is >15000 MΩ for capacitance values ≤0.33 μF and 5000 MΩ for capacitance values >0.33 μF.
