Product Overview

The DURASEAL RING TERMINAL is a controlled crimp device designed to terminate tin plated or bare copper stranded wire to a ring terminal, providing a splash proof and strain relief connection.

The product is available in various sizes, including 0.5-1.0 mm² (AWG 22-18), 1.4-2.5 mm² (AWG 16-14), and 3.0-6.0 mm² (AWG 12-10), with corresponding wire dimensions and colors.

The insulation sleeve is made of heat-shrinkable, transparent, radiation cross-linked modified polyamide with a thermoplastic adhesive coating inside, and the ring terminal is made of tin plated copper alloy.

Applications

The product is suitable for applications requiring a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and is UL listed for wire connections.

For best results, the wire should be prepared as shown, and application tooling and installation instructions can be found in RPIP-684-00.
