Overview
The X5168 and X5169 are CPU supervisors that combine power-on reset control, supply voltage supervision, and block lock protect serial EEPROM memory in one package.

These devices offer:
- Low Vcc detection and reset assertion with five standard reset threshold voltages
- Re-programmable low Vcc reset threshold voltage
- 16Kbits of EEPROM with built-in inadvertent write protection
- 2MHz SPI interface with 32-byte page write mode
- Low power consumption with <1μA max standby current (watchdog off)
- Available in 14 Ld TSSOP, 8 Ld SOIC, and 8 Ld PDIP packages
Operation
The devices activate a power-on reset circuit when power is applied, holding RESETIRESET active until the power supply and oscillator stabilize. They also monitor the Vcc level and assert RESETIRESET if the supply voltage falls below a preset minimum VTRIP.
