Overview
RLC Electronics’ Broadband Miniature Attenuators offer precision impedance matching and bi-directional handling over the frequency range of DC to 18 GHz. They are available in standard attenuation values as listed or other values for specific requirements.
Specifications
These attenuators have a power rating of 2 watts average at 25°C, derated linearly to 0.5 watts at 125°C. They have a weight of 0.4 Oz. for SMA and 2 Oz. for Type N connectors.
The attenuators are made of stainless steel and have an impedance of 50 ohms. They conform to the requirements of MIL-C-39012 and MIL-A-3933 environments.
The connectors available are SMA male or female, and Type N male or female. Special ordering options are available for closer tolerance, different frequency ranges, special connectors, materials, or finishes.
Typical Operating Curves
Two typical operating curves are shown, one for attenuation accuracy vs. frequency and the other for VSWR vs. frequency.
