Preassembled housings in strip form are available in positions 2-12, with recommended positions 2-5 for ease of handling using the Tyco Electronics Manual Pistol Grip Tool.
Housings are made of black thermoplastic, 94V-0 rated, with phosphor bronze contacts plated with gold, tin-lead, and nickel.
Insulation displacement contacts accept an insulation diameter of .030 [0.76] min to .054 [1.37] max with an insulation wall thickness of .015 [0.38] max.
