Overview
This datasheet describes the AMP 0.8mm free height vertical receptacles with a 0.8mm pitch, designed for board-to-board stacking applications.
Key Features
The receptacles are available in various stacking heights (13mm, 14mm, 15mm, and 16mm) and feature a high-temperature thermoplastic housing with beryllium copper contacts.
The contacts have a gold plating on the mating area and are tin-lead plated over nickel on the solder tail.
The receptacles are keyed and have a dual centerline spacing of 0.8mm (0.031 inches).
Applications and Packaging
The receptacles are suitable for automatic placement and are available in tube packaging with a steel cover for tape mounting.
They are designed for use in fine pitch surface-mount applications, including board-to-board stacking.
