The 2981 and 2982 are 8-channel source drivers designed for high-side switching applications. They feature TTL, DTL, PMOS, or CMOS compatible inputs, 500 mA output source current capability, and transient-protected outputs.

These devices are suitable for interfacing between low-level logic and high-current loads, such as relays, solenoids, lamps, stepper and/or servo motors, print hammers, and LEDs.

Key Features:

Output breakdown voltage up to 50 V, input current limiting resistors, and output transient suppression diodes.

Available in 18-pin DIP and 20-pin SOICW packages, with the SOICW package offering improved thermal characteristics.

Operating ambient temperature range: -40°C to 85°C (A2982ELW) and -20°C to 85°C (other variants).
