These filters and chokes are designed to reduce input interference and output ripple voltages in applications with switched mode power supplies.

Key Features

FP filters contain a Moly Permalloy Powder (MPP) ring core, which features low DC losses and high DC magnetization, making them suitable for use at the input and/or output of switching regulators.

LP series ring core chokes can be used for application-specific LC filters at the input or output of switched mode power supplies.

Applications

These filters and chokes are used to prevent oscillations and reduce superimposed interference voltages in switching regulator applications, particularly in systems with long supply lines.

They can also be used to reduce output ripple and improve the dynamic regulation of the power supply.
