The 7000 Series Miniature Toggle Switches are designed for various applications, including telecommunications, instrumentation, and medical equipment.
Key Features
These switches offer multi-pole and multi-position options, a wide range of actuator and termination choices, and are epoxy terminal-seal compatible with bottom wash cleaning. RoHS compliant models are also available.
Electrical Specifications
The switches have a contact rating of 0.4 VA max @ 20 V AC or DC max for B contact material and 5 AMPS @ 120 V AC or 28 V DC; 2 AMPS @ 250 V AC for Q contact material. They also feature a long electrical life, with 100,000 make-and-break cycles at full load for 7X01 and UX1 models, and 40,000 cycles for all other models.
Contact resistance is below 10 mΩ typical initial @ 2-4 V DC 100 mA for both silver and gold plated contacts. Insulation resistance is 10^9 Ω min, and dielectric strength is 1000 Vrms min @ sea level.
The operating temperature range is -30°C to 85°C, and the switches are solderable per MIL-STD-202F method 208D or EIA RS-186E method 9 hour steam aging.
