The 3M TM Four-Wall Header 100″ x.100″ Latch/Ejector D3000 Series datasheet describes a range of headers suitable for military applications, with features that include 3M’s 3518 & N3518 polarizing keys, optional ejector latches, and mounting holes for board attachment. The solder tails are plated with 40-120 microinches (1-3 micrometers) of matte tin. Product markings include the 3M logo, the part identification number, and an orientation triangle.

Electrical Properties

The headers exhibit a 5.00 A current rating when a single contact is powered, 3.00 A with six contacts powered, and 1.75 A with all contacts powered. These ratings are based on a maximum temperature rise of 30°C, featured in EIA-364-070 Method 2 and include a 20% derating. The insulation resistance exceeds 1×10^9 ohms at 500 VDC, and the headers have a withstanding voltage of 1,000 VRMS at sea level.

Environmental and Processing Ratings

Environmental temperature tolerance extends from -55°C to +105°C. The process temperature rating is set at a maximum of 260°C following profile per J-STD-020C, intended for a single pass. Its moisture sensitivity is evaluated according to J-STD-020C. The product is listed under UL File No.: E68080.
