This datasheet describes a series of high power Zener diodes, JEDEC registered 1N2804B through 1N2846B and 1N4557B through 1N4564B, which provide voltage regulation in values from 3.9 V to 200 V.
These diodes are available in a TO-2O4AD (TO-3) package and are qualified per MIL-PRF-19500/114. They have a low thermal resistance, making them suitable for operation up to 50 W with adequate mounting and heat sinking.
The diodes are also available in reverse polarity and are RoHS compliant on commercial versions. They are inherently radiation hard and non-sensitive to ESD per MIL-STD-750 method 1020.
Applications and Benefits
The diodes regulate voltage over a broad range of operating current and temperature, with voltage tolerances of 10%, 5%, 2%, and 1% available.
