Important Pre-Installation Notes

The installer must have a thorough knowledge of automotive systems operation. If unfamiliar, it’s recommended to install by a qualified professional.

Required Tools and Safety Equipment

A set of required tools includes hydraulic jack, 19mm socket, 2-Ton (or greater) Jack Stands, 17mm Wrench, Wheel Chock, and Torque Wrench.

Always wear safety glasses and necessary protective garments when performing maintenance or performance upgrades.

Procedure

The installation process involves several steps, including ensuring the car’s ignition is off, disconnecting the negative battery terminal, and raising the vehicle using a jack and jack stands.

Further steps include removing the OEM camber arms, installing the Z1 camber arms, and torquing the bolts to the specified values.

Additional Tips and Recommendations

Z1 recommends the use of Energy Suspension Formula 5 Prelube or other synthetic water-resistant marine-grade grease on the street version camber arms.

It’s also recommended to perform a final test drive and alignment check after installation.
