Important Safety Information
Extra caution must be exercised when working on vehicles equipped with SRS (Airbag) and ISIPS bag/IC (Inflatable Curtain) to avoid personal injuries and damage or malfunction of the system.
Work involving these systems must always be performed by an authorized Volvo workshop.
General Recommendations
Be especially careful when working on or around SRS, SIPS, and IC components.
Make sure that no wires are pinched, frayed, or pierced.
Never install accessories by the sensors.
