Long-Term Emission Warranty Coverage
The fuel filler pipe is covered by the Long-Term Emission Warranty for 8 years or 80,000 miles/130,000 kilometers, whichever occurs first.
Reimbursement
If a customer has already paid for the replacement of their vehicle’s fuel filler pipe prior to the date of this letter and their New Vehicle Limited Warranty has expired, they may be eligible for a refund.
To apply for a refund, customers should send their repair order with a copy of this letter to Volvo’s customer care center.
Note: Only parts and labor costs relevant to the repair or replacement of the fuel filler pipe will be reimbursed under the terms of the Long-Term Federal Emission warranty.
