Thank you for choosing the Advent Power Liftgate System. This user manual provides information on the function and use of the Power Liftgate System.
Warnings & Safety
Avoid manually opening or closing the liftgate, as it can damage the Power Liftgate System. Do not disassemble or remove the system from your vehicle. Ensure no objects or persons are in the way of the Power Liftgate System.
Use Instructions
Use your vehicle’s factory remote control to open and close the Power Liftgate. Press the Power Liftgate button from the inside or back of the vehicle to open or close the liftgate.
Height Adjustment: Manually adjust the liftgate to the preferred height, then press the INSIDE button for 3 seconds until you hear the system beep twice.
Intelligent Anti-Pinch: If an object blocks the Power Liftgate System during operation, the liftgate will stop and automatically move in the opposite direction to avoid damage or injury.
LED and Alarm Open/Close Confirmation: The button’s LED will flash and the alarm will sound to confirm the open or close action.
