The Aston Martin DBS

The DBS was introduced in 1967, featuring a shortened DB6 chassis with a de Dion axle and powered by the forthcoming Aston Martin V8 engine.

The DBS had many features from the DB6, including a dashboard with warning lights, electric windows, and a heated rear window. The car was well-received at the Paris and London Motor Shows, with the only criticism being its width.

The DBS had a top speed of 148 mph, with a 0-60 mph time of 6 seconds. It had a chassis number ranging from DB8OOI/R to DB8/S/829/R, with 39 numbers not used.
