Tesla Model Y (2021/09 +) Steering Wheel Installation Manual

Important Notes

Before installation, please turn off the vehicle power and do not disassemble any part by yourself to avoid voiding the warranty.

Installation Steps

1. Prepare the necessary tools: steering wheel, large HIO wrench, and 2 flat head screwdrivers.

2. Turn off the host power in the vehicle setting.

3. Remove the airbag and steering wheel plug, then take off the airbag.

4. Screw out the steering wheel screw with a large HIO wrench and pull out the steering wheel.

5. Install the harness of the original steering wheel on the new steering wheel and plug in the plug.

6. Finally, insert the airbag plug and test the speaker and buttons after installation.
