Battery Charge Warning Lamp On With DTC B1DB-87 Stored

This technical bulletin addresses an issue where the battery charge warning lamp may be displayed in the Instrument Cluster with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B1DB-87 stored in the Body Control Module (BCM).

Cause: A blown Battery Monitoring System (BMS) fused harness.

Action: Follow the service instruction outlined below to replace the BMS fused harness.

Steps include checking the continuity of the fused harness, removing the battery, locating and disconnecting the BMS fused harness, and installing a new one.
