Summary

This document describes a special coverage adjustment for certain 2015-2016 model year GMC Yukon, Yukon XL, Yukon Denali, and Yukon Denali XL vehicles. The condition is described as stop and tail lamp functions becoming inoperative. The special coverage covers this condition for 6 years or 72,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the date the vehicle was originally placed in service. The adjustment provides for reimbursement of reasonable and customary expenses for Customers who have previously paid for repairs.

The procedure outlined in this document is for replacing the tail lamp assembly. Dealers are instructed to replace the lamp ASM RR body structure stop, left and right, at no charge to the customer. The repairs must be performed by a General Motors dealer, and Customers are required to submit their reimbursement claims to the dealer or Reimbursement Department by December 31, 2020.

Customer Reimbursement

Customers who have already paid for repairs may be eligible for reimbursement. The reimbursement form must be completed and presented to the dealer or Reimbursement Department along with all required documents. The completed form and required documents must be submitted by December 31, 2020, unless state law specifies a longer reimbursement period.
