Rear Supporting Mount Issue
A creaking noise from the rear end area of the vehicle may be caused by the spring force of the coil spring being outside of the tolerance range, resulting in the piston rod touching against the supporting mount housing.
Remedial Action
Check the following components for damage: coil spring, shock absorber, supporting mount, and insert. If damage is found, replace the affected parts in pairs.
Shock absorbers must be replaced in pairs if the mileage is over 15,500 miles or the age is over 2 years.
