Summary of Service Bulletin
This service bulletin provides instructions and guidelines for a noted condition or customer concern regarding the Model S Base Front Seats.
Condition
On some Model S base trim front seats, the forward inboard Huck BOM fastener and pivot bushing may develop an interactive clearance condition, which may result in a rocking motion in the seat.
Correction
Upon customer complaint of front seats that rock when occupied, remove and discard the original Huck BOM fastener, and install a new pivot bolt and bushing.
The procedure detailed in this service bulletin is specific to Model S base trim 1st row seats and does not apply to powered headrest seats or seats on other models.
