A Service Action Announcement

A potential quality issue has been identified on a limited number of Land Rover vehicles fitted with the Ingenium 14 2.0L engine, where a fault with the engine coolant pump could lead to excessive engine cooling fan noise in the passenger compartment and eventually reduce the performance of the cooling system.

To address this issue, an authorized Land Rover retailer will update the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) software to the latest level at the next service opportunity, and there will be no charge for this repair.

Owners should contact their preferred authorized Land Rover retailer, provide their Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), and request a service date to complete the work required under Program Code ‘N451’. The work is expected to take approximately 30 minutes, although the retailer may need the vehicle for a longer time due to service scheduling requirements and vehicle conditioning.

Leasing agencies and owners who have moved or no longer own the vehicle are also addressed in the notification.
