Safety Recall Campaign 386, Air Bag Control Module Replacement (Maserati GranTurismo & GranCabrio Model Years: 2015,2016,2017, and 2018)

Recall Information

A safety recall campaign has been initiated by Maserati to replace the Air Bag Control Module (Fig.1) in certain model years of the GranTurismo and GranCabrio vehicles.

Affected Vehicles

The affected vehicles include GranTurismo and GranCabrio models from 2015 to 2018. A VIN list in ModisCS+ can be used to determine if a vehicle is included in the recall campaign.

Repair Procedure

The repair procedure involves replacing the Air Bag Control Module with a new one, and includes initialization procedures for the new module. The procedures for each model year are outlined in Attachments A, B, and C.

The recall procedure is free of charge to the customer and parts must be ordered with a PHD from the Maserati Parts Dept.

Important: Before starting the repair, ensure that the vehicle is included in the recall campaign and that the repair has not been previously performed.
