Engine Specifications
The engine is a six-cylinder in-line with overhead inlet and side exhaust valves, bore 3.730 in (94.5 mm), stroke 3.5 in (114 mm), cubic capacity 193 cu. in. (3162 cc), and compression ratio 6.6:1 (standard) and 7.25:1 (high compression).
The engine and gearbox are of unit construction, suspended at three points, with a monobloc cast iron cylinder block and an aluminium alloy cylinder head.
