Recall Campaign Overview
Ferrari has issued a recall campaign for certain LaFerrari and LaFerrari Aperta models manufactured from 2013 to 2017 due to a brake fluid reservoir cap that may not vent properly, potentially leading to a partial or total loss of braking capability.
The recall involves replacing the brake fluid reservoir cap and, for some models, updating the Instrument Panel Node (NQS) software. Ferrari will provide a supplementary adhesive leaflet to update the Owner’s Manual.
Affected Vehicles
LaFerrari (VIN No. 198001 to VIN No. 232856) and LaFerrari Aperta
Remedy
Ferrari will repair the vehicle free of charge, including replacing the brake fluid reservoir cap and updating the Instrument Panel Node (NQS) software if necessary.
