This technical service bulletin outlines the procedure for inspecting and replacing the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) module in certain 2013-2015MY Santa Fe Sport (AN) vehicles.
Important:
Dealers must perform this recall campaign whenever an affected vehicle is in the shop for any maintenance or repair.
Procedure:
The procedure involves inspecting the ABS module, replacing the multi-fuse, and if necessary, replacing the ABS module.
Note:
If no current is detected or if the measured value is less than 1.0HA, ensure the junction box cable is connected to the junction box stud and the 12V Battery (-) terminal has been reconnected.
Additional Information:
It is required to take and submit a picture of the multimeter’s measured value using STUI in the GDS; claim will be subject to chargeback if required photo is not taken.
