Off-Road Capability
The Range Rover Evoque is a capable off-road vehicle, but it has its limitations. The 4×4 system is front-biased, which can lead to traction issues on steep hills and rough terrain.
Despite this, the Evoque performed well on dirt roads and in slippery conditions, thanks to its effective traction control and excellent throttle response.
Comparison to Competitors
The Evoque’s off-road capability is comparable to its competitors, such as the Freelander and the Suzuki Grand Vitara. However, it falls short of the Discovery 4’s capabilities.
The Evoque’s limited clearance and approach angle are its main weaknesses, but its agility and stability make it a capable off-road vehicle within its limitations.
