Powertrain

The Taycan has an all-wheel-drive powertrain with two Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM) and a two-speed transmission.

The powertrain provides full variable torque distribution between the front and rear wheels.

Driving Modes

The Taycan has four driving modes: Range, Normal, Sport, and Sport Plus.

Range mode enables the longest possible driving range from the available State of Charge (SoC).
