Symptom
The red warning message “Hybrid system failure” or the yellow warning message “Hybrid system fault” appears in the instrument cluster.
Cause
Software error in the high-voltage power electronics, resulting in a fault memory entry.
Remedial Action
Re-program the control unit for high-voltage power electronics if the software version is lower than “P630”.
Important Notes
Ensure a stable WLAN connection and a suitable battery charger with a current rating of at least 90 A.
Disconnect electric plug connection for the fan blower and use the original driver’s key.
