Porsche Warranty Overview
The Porsche New Vehicle Warranty for Battery Electric Vehicles Only is a comprehensive warranty program that covers defects and malfunctions in new Porsche battery electric vehicles (BEVs) for a period of up to three years or 160,000 kilometers, whichever occurs first. The warranty is subject to certain conditions and exclusions.
Warranty Benefits
The warranty program provides several benefits to the first original owner and subsequent owners of the vehicle, including:
- Manufacturing warranty for up to three years or 160,000 kilometers, whichever occurs first
- Manufacturing warranty for the high voltage battery for up to eight years or 160,000 kilometers, whichever occurs first
- Manufacturing warranty for the paint and bodywork for up to three years
Warranty Conditions and Exclusions
The warranty is subject to certain conditions and exclusions, including:
- Defects caused by improper repair, maintenance, or servicing
- Defects caused by non-approved parts or modifications
- Defects caused by excessive wear and tear
- Defects caused by external influences, such as accidents or flooding
Service in the Event of a Warranty Claim
In the event of a valid warranty claim, Porsche will remedy the defect free of charge by an authorized Porsche Centre or Porsche Service Centre.
Time Bar
Claims made by a warranty holder after the expiration of the applicable warranty period are not valid claims and will be denied. Claims not made within six months of the first manifestation of or knowledge of a defect are automatically extinguished.
