General Modification Note
Modifications to any vehicle can change its handling and performance. Always use seat belts and drive safely, recognizing that reduced speeds and specialized driving techniques may be required.
Installation Instructions
Remove fasteners securing the hood seal, raise the front of the vehicle off the ground, and remove the front bumper skin. Locate the black steel hood seal support bracket, remove the plastic fasteners and 10mm bolts, and remove the hood seal bracket from the car.
Route the hoses smoothly, avoiding sharp metal objects, and ensure they are properly aligned. Install the PERRIN oil filter spacer and thermostat housing adapter, and connect the oil lines to the top of the oil cooler. Tighten the fittings to 30-40 ft-lbs, or double-check the tightness after 1 hour of driving.
Finally, set the oil cooler onto the lower splash guard, behind the bumper beam, and align it with the holes in the lower section.
